About NAAES
The Nigerian Association of Agricultural Economics Students (NAAES), Obafemi Awolowo University Chapter, is a body of all Students in the Department of Agricultural Economics in the University. It comprises of members from 100 level to 500 level, and sums to about 500 members. The main aim of the Association is to see to the academic, social, and mental well-being of the students in the Department, as well as to position them in the best capacity of feeding the fast-growing population of the world in the nearest future as regards our motto- Food Security of the Nation.
Our Vision
Our vision is to be the leading Agricultural Association for Students in Nigeria. NAAES’s vision is a Food secured and wealthy nation characterized by an innovative, commercially oriented and competitive Agricultural sector.
Our Mission
The fundamental mission of the association is to meet the needs of its students by providing a platform which will actively engage Agricultural Economics Students and Students of Related Discipline, Researchers, and Professionals in matters related to the Agricultural sector to develop their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success.
